Architectural Design

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church commissioned our studio to design a new parish church to be integrated with the existing parish hall, as well as a  classroom for 15-20 students, and parish office.

Our studio designed a church in a traditional yet original Byzantine style, with emphasis being placed on the needs and desires of this parish. The existing hall was redesigned on the interior to meet the programatic needs of the parish, and connected to the new church design via a new breezeway.

​

Our design features an octagonal dome and drum, and circulation provided for processions both on the interior of the church, as well as on the exterior, along a lit and landscaped path.

​

Along with the architectural design of the church, our studio is completing a comprehensive design including all original stained glass windows, iconography and decoration, floor design, mosaic, and carved wood and cabinetry.
